CYLINDER REMOVAL / INSTALLATION (Con't).
NOTE
·
Preformed packings should be lightly coated with hydraulic fluid before
installation.
23. Install two new preformed packings (4) and straight connectors (5) on positioning
cylinders (2) inside bottom beam (19 Rear, 20 Front).
24. Connect two hose assemblies (6) to straight connectors (5) at positioning cylinders (2).
Follow-on Tasks:
·
Install toolbox (front dolly).
·
Bleed hydraulic system if necessary. (See Appendix D).
·
Check for leaks.
·
Remove wooden blocks from ends of bottom beam.
·
Ensure proper air inflation in air bags.
