LAMP
INOPERATIVE.
S t e p 1. Check lamp.
If defective, replace lamp.
Step 2. Inspect lamp and ballast wiring for breaks.
If broken or disconnected, replace or repair wires.
S t e p 3. Inspect ballast.
If defective, replace ballast.
4. ALL LAMPS INOPERATIVE.
Step 1. Check map board light switch.
Replace switch if defective.
Step 2. Check circuit breaker.
Reset circuit breaker to ON.
Step 3. Inspect wiring from electrical duct extension to receptacle and cable from receptacle
to edge lighting assembly.
Fix or replace broken wire or cable.
B L A C K O U T LIGHTING SYSTEM
5 . BLACKOUT LIGHTS FAIL TO OPERATE WHEN DOOR IS OPENED.
Step 1. Check blackout light circuit breaker.
Reset breaker to ON.
Step 2. Check microswitch on door.
If switch is defective, replace it.
Step 3. Inspect wiring from microswitch to circuit breaker.
Repair or replace defective wiring.
