GENERAL INFORMATION Overhaul Procedure OVERHAUL PROCEDURE The Overhaul Procedure which follows is intended to help you to become accustomed to a systematic method of repairing Briggs & Stratton engines.  Naturally these steps could be rearranged in different order but efficiency is obtained when the repair operations are performed in the same sequence every time.  The exact procedure will vary according to the engine model being repaired.
