TM 5-4940-228-14 CHAPTER 5 DIRECT SUPPORT AND GENERAL SUPPORT MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS Section  I.  REPAIR  PARTS,  SPECIAL  TOOLS  AND  EQUIPMENT 5-1. No special tools or equipment are required for parts manual TM 5-4940-228-24P. maintenance of this Paint Spray Outfit. 5-3.  No  special  fabricated  tools  or  equipment  are 5-2. This  section  contains  troubleshooting  infor- mation for locating and correcting most of the oper- ation  troubles  which  may  develop  in  the  Paint Spray  Outfit.  Each  malfunction  for  an  individual component, unit, or system, is followed by a list of tests  or  inspections  which  will  help  you  to  deter- mine corrective actions to take. You should perform the  tests/inspections  and  corrective  actions  in  the order  listed. b.  This  manual  cannot  list  all  malfunctions which  may  occur,  nor  all  tests  or  inspections  and corrective actions. If a malfunction is not listed, or is  not  corrected  by  listed  corrective  actions,  notify your supervisor. 5-5. Troubleshooting Table.
