TM 5-3610-295-13&P-1 2-13. INTRODUCTION.  - Continued Table 2-1.  Operator Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) WARNING SHUT  OFF  generator  engine  before  performing  any  maintenance  to  prevent  possible electrical shock.  If the engine must be run, make sure the area is well ventilated.  The exhaust fumes contain poisonous carbon monoxide gas which can cause death. NOTE If  the  equipment  must  be  kept  in  continuous  operation,  check  and  service  only  those items   that   can   be   checked   and   serviced   without   disturbing   operation.      Make   the complete checks and services when the equipment can be shut down. Check that both fluorescent tubes are illuminated. If necessary, refer to Unit Maintenance for service/repair. Fluorescent lights not operating. 2 PMT Processor Be   sure   that   there   are   proper levels  of  chemicals.    Check  for correct and smooth operation.  If necessary, service unit in accordance with commercial manual instructions. Unit does not operate. 3 . Vertical Camera Check for correct lens calibration.      Check   for   correct operation of vacuum pumps and smooth   operation   of   lens   and copyboard   system.      Check   for leaks   in   vacuum   system.      If necessary, service unit in accordance    with    TM    5-3610- 303-12&P. Leaks in vacuum system. 2-13
