Coil and correctly stow main power cable.
(7)
Disconnect ground rod and wire from shelter and stow in proper location.

Loading Shelter. (See figure 2-15.)
(1)
Connect sling assembly to lifting eyes and lifting hook.
(2)
Tie a 1/2 inch (13 mm) rope at least 15 feet (4.6 meters) long to rear towing eyes.
(3) Position a man on each rope.
(4)
Lower truck tailgate.
WARNING
Injury to personnel or damage to equipment could result if unauthorized or
unnecessary individuals are nearby when lifting or lowering shelter. Permit only
personnel actually engaged in the lifting operation to be near the vehicle and
lifting device. All instructions for the lifting operations must come from the crew
supervisor.
CAUTION
Lift shelter slowly to avoid tearing lifting eye assemblies from the shelter. Do not
jerk the sling when lifting.
CAUTION
Do not swing the shelter from side to side when lifting. This places additional
stress on the lifting eye assemblies which can tear them from the shelter.

Slowly lift shelter with suitable lifting device.
