TM 5-3610-293-13&P 2-14.  ASSEMBLY AND PREPARATION FOR USE. - Continued e. Setting Up and Operating Sink Assembly.  (See figure 2-18.) (1) Remove portable pump (1), 25-foot hose (2), and 50-foot hose (3) from storage locations in ink cart and tool caddy assembly. (2) Place  portable  pump  (1)  outside  personnel  door,  connect  25-foot  hose  (2)  to  portable  pump  outlet  and connect 50-foot hose (3) to portable pump inlet. (3) Connect other end of 25-foot hose (2) to sink assembly inlet (4) and connect other end of 50-foot hose (3) to water source. (4) Verify  that  all  switches  are  in  the  OFF  position  and  that  sink  assembly  power  cord  is  connected  to  wall outlet and place  water level switch (5) in FRESH WATER LEVEL position. (5) Connect portable pump electrical cord to exterior 120v outlet (6) on shelter power input panel. (6) Open hot water faucet (7), push press to test switch (8), and monitor water level on water level monitor (9).  As soon as water level monitor (9) starts indicating, place fresh water pump switch (10) in ON position. (7) When water starts pouring out of faucet (7), close hot water faucet (7) and open cold water faucet (7).  When water starts pouring out of faucet (7), close cold water faucet (7). (8) When fresh water tank is full (sound level of portable pump (1) will change or sound of water entering fresh water tank  will  change),  disconnect  portable  pump  electrical  cord,  disconnect  25-foot  hose  (2)  and  50-foot  hose  (3).    Stow portable pump (1) and hoses in ink cart and tool caddy assembly. CAUTION If  thermometer  indicates  temperature  in  hot  water  tank  is  above  170°F,  place  water heater switch in OFF position and notify Unit Maintenance.  Failure to do so may result in damage to equipment. (9) Place water heater switch (11) in ON position.  The water heater will take approximately 10 minutes to fully heat the water in the hot water tank.  Check thermometer (12).  Water temperature should be 160°F or less. 2-36
