TM 5-3610-293-13&P CHAPTER 1.  INTRODUCTION SECTION I.  GENERAL INFORMATION 1-1.  SCOPE. a. Type of Manual.  Operating Instructions, Unit and Direct Support Maintenance. b. Model Number and Equipment Name.  Model Number-None assigned.  Modular Printing System (MPS), Module B, Press Section of the Army Special Warfare Modular Printing System, hereafter referred to as the Press Section. c. Purpose of Equipment.  The Press Section contains a two-color printing press limited to 8,000 sheets per hour. The  purpose  of  the  Press  Section  is  to  print  leaflets  for  distribution  areas.    The  Press  Section  greatly  expands  the production  capability  of  Army  Psychological  Operations  (PSYOPS)  units  through  use  of  its  high-speed  commercial printing press.  Refer to Figure 1-1 for a layout of the Modular Printing System. d. Supplementing  Manuals.      The   following   manuals   contain   operating   and   maintenance   instructions   for   other components of the MPS. (1) TM 5-3610-294-13&P Finishing Section (Module C) (2) TM 5-4120-395-14&P Air Conditioner Unit, 24,000 BTUH (3) TM 5-4120-396-14&P Air Conditioner Unit, 36,000 BTUH (4) TM 5-3610-295-13&P-1 Editorial and Photomechanical Shelter, Module A, Volume 1 (5) TM 5-3610-295-13&P-2 Press Shelter, Module A, Volume 2 1-2.   MAINTENANCE  FORMS  AND  RECORDS.    Department  of  the  Army  forms  and  procedures  used  for  equipment maintenance will be those prescribed by DA Pamphlet 738-750, The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS). 1-3.  REPORTING   EQUIPMENT   IMPROVEMENT   RECOMMENDATIONS   (EIR's).      If   your   Press   Section   needs improvement, let us know.  Send us an EIR.  You, the user, are the only one who can tell us what you don't like about your  equipment.    Let  us  know  why  you  don't  like  the  design  or  performance.    Put  it  on  an  SF  368  (Quality  Deficiency Report).    Mail  it  to:  Commander,  U.S.    Army  Aviation  and  Troop  Command,  ATTN:  AMSAT  I-MDO,  4300  Goodfellow Boulevard, St.  Louis, MO 63120-1798.  We'll send you a reply.
