18. STATUS CODE 13 (VFU TAPE TOO LONG).
Check if tape is longer than 144 lines.
I n s t a l l tape that is no longer than 144 lines (para 2-11).
Press ALARM/CLEAR switch.

STATUS CODE 14 (VFU TAPE CHANNEL NOT FOUND).
C h e c k if VFU tape is installed correctly (para 2-11).
Re-install VFU tape (para 2-11), and press ALARM/CLEAR switch.
I f f a u l t p e r s i s t s , t e l l your supervisor maintenance is required.
STATUS CODE 15 (PRINTER UNABLE TO READ TAPE).

Check VFU tape for tears and excess wear.
Replace VFU tape (para 2-11), and press ALARM/CLEAR switch. If
f a u l t p e r s i s t s , t e l l your supervisor maintenance is required.
STATUS CODE 16 (SINGLE STEP MODE BOF OPTION IS SET AND PAPER IS LOW).

Press ALARM/CLEAR switch, and wait until paper steps to bottom of form.
Then press ON/OFF/LINE switch.
I n s t a l l paper (para 2-8).
STATUS CODE 17 (LOSS OF PRINT SYNC).

C h e c k last line of print for incorrect data.
Press ALARM/CLEAR switch. I f f a u l t p e r s i s t s , t e l l y o u r
s u p e r v i s o r maintenance is required.
STATUS CODE 20 (NO DATA COMPARISON).
23.
Press ALARM/CLEAR switch.
I f f a u l t p e r s i s t s , t e l l your supervisor maintenance is required.
STATUS CODE 21 (PRINT INHIBIT).
24.
Power OFF, then power ON printer (para 2-7).
I f fault persists, tell your supervisor maintenance is required.
