OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES

Operating and maintenance procedures in this manual have two features which help

you perform them more easily:

An initial setup box is used at the start of any procedure which requires setup

i t e m s before you perform it. This box lists items such as tools and supplies

needed to perform the procedure. If the box does not appear at the start of a

procedure, it means no setup items are needed.

If You are using this manual to perform a procedure for the first time, always read

t h r o u g h the entire procedure before you start. This will help you understand the

t a s k you will perform. Always perform the task steps in t h e order given. This

w i l l help assure correct performance. U s e t h e i l l u s t r a tions beside the steps to

f i n d the parts of the equipment called out in the steps. Some steps include a

r e f e r e n c e to another paragraph. Go to that paragraph if you are not sure how the

steps are done.
