26. Cleaning
a. Exterior Surfaces. Clean the exposed exterior surfaces (except
optical surfaces) of the equipment as follows:
(1) Remove dust and dirt from all exposed parts with a clean,
dry, lint-free cloth.
(2) Use a camel's-hair brush or an air syringe to remove dust,
dirt, and foreign matter from hard-to-reach parts.
Warning: Cleaning compound is flammable and its
fumes are toxic. Do not use near a flame; provide ade-
quate ventilation.
Caution: Do not allow cleaning compound to come in
contact with optical surfaces. Use cleaning compound
sparingly.
