2-4. Deflating the life Preserver

Deflation is accomplished by either of two methods:

(1) Depress the mouth inflation valve (fig. 2-7) and roll the

flotation cell toward the mouth inflation valve.

(2) Apply a vacuum to the depressed mouth inflation valve.
