(2) Drogue.    A  drogue  may  be  attached  during  packing  or  after  packing  using  the  following  procedures,  as applicable: (a) During packing. 1 After the static line is attached to the canopy bridle loop, pass 3 to 4 inches of the drogue attaching loop through the static line breakcord attaching loop. 2 Pass  the  drogue  body  through  the  extended  drogue  attaching  loop  end  and  draw  the  drogue attaching loop tight. 3 Stow the drogue body on top of the canopy adjacent to the canopy vent (figure 2-30) and insure the drogue does not become entangled in the vent lines. (b) After packing completed. 1 Pull the pack flaps as far apart as possible without cutting the pack closing tie and locate the static line breakcord attaching loop. 2 Attach and stow the drogue using the procedures in (a) above. 2-44
