13. QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS. Prior to returning a shipment, a First Article
Test sample is required per manufacturer as well as periodic Lot Inspections conducted by
government Defense Contracting Management Agency personnel. A Technical/Rigger Type
Inspection (TRI) and an In-service Inspection will be completed at organizational level when
placing the MIRPS back into service.
14. RECORDING AND REPORTING OF THE MODIFICATION.
a. Records and reports. SBCCOM will assume responsibility for recording the MWO
application data to the Modification Management Information System (MMIS). Once units receive
their total quantity of assets back from the contractor, immediately notify CW3 Jimmy Taylor at
DSN 256-6012 or commercial at (508) 233-6012.
b. Marking Equipment. Not applicable.
c.
Identification Data. Not applicable.
15. MATERIEL CHANGE (MC) NUMBER. This MWO is authorized by MC Number 1-01-08-
0004.
16. MODIFICATION IDENTIFICATION. Visual identification only. Once modified, the ripcord
grip assembly will protrude from the top of the MIRPS pack tray vs. the right side and the ripcord
grip pocket is removed.
