SUMMARY

1-29 The USER CALIBRATION label indicates that you should calibrate the test and measuring instrument instead of sending the instrument to a calibration facility. The INACTIVE—CALIBRATE BEFORE USE label is used when a piece of test equipment due for recalibration will not be used for some time in the future. The CALIBRATION NOT REQUIRED label is used on test instruments listed in the Metrology Requirements List (METRL) as not requiring calibration.
