by a + 5v-source from the +5v-regulator circuit and
transmitted to the base drive circuit on the power
switch board.
3-35. Base Drive Circuit
The base drive circuit is shown as a typical half
circuit for clarity. Darlington pairs (one mounted on
the PCB and the other on the A7 chassis) deliver a 7-
to 8.5v-push-pull signal to the driving transformer

3-36. Base and Current Sense Circuits
The power switch circuit also includes the recovery
The base and current sense circuits are located on the
c i r c u i t and pulser inductor L701. The phase data

switches (Q708, Q709) and then to the pulser-
diodes (CR708, CR715) in the base circuit and
