2-8. 2-6. TM 9-2320-362-14&P Section III. OPERATION  UNDER  USUAL  CONDITIONS This section provides instructions for operation of components of the EES kit  under  moderate  temperature,   humidity,  and  terrain  conditions. For operations  under  unusual  conditions,   refer to section IV of this chapter. 2-7. OPERATION OF HAND THROTTLE CABLE WARNING Do not use hand throttle cable as an automatic  speed  or  cruise  control. The  hand throttle  cable  does  not  automatically disengage when brake is applied, resulting in increased  stopping  distances  and  possibly hazardous  and  unsafe  operation. a. Increase  Setting  on  Hand  Throttle  Cable. To increase setting on hand throttle cable, slowly turn knob counterclockwise until desired RPM’s are attained. b. Decrease Setting on Hand (1)  To  decrease  setting is attained. (2)  To  decrease  setting throttle knob until idle speed Throttle  Cable. slowly, turn knob clockwise until idle speed rapidly, push throttle button and push-in is  attained. Section IV. OPERATION  UNDER  UNUSUAL  CONDITIONS This section provides special instructions for operating and maintaining components  of  the  EES  kit  under  unusual  conditions. Unusual conditions are extreme  temperatures,  humidity,  and/or  terrain. Special  care  in  cleaning and lubrication must be taken in order to keep the components of the EES kit operational  when  operating  under  unusual  conditions. 2-7
