General mechanic’s tool kit:
Hood raised and secured (TM 9-2320-280-10).
automotive (Appendix B, Item 1)
1. Remove three capscrews (4), washers (3), and splash shield access cover (5) from engine left splash
shield (1).
2. Inspect spring
b. Installation
nuts (2) for damage. Replace, if damaged.
Install splash shield access cover (5) to engine left splash shield (1) with three capscrews
washers (3).

FOLLOW-ON TASK Lower and secure hood (TM 9-2320-280-10).
