1-10 DIRECTIONAL REFERENCES
The following directional references and terms are used in this manual.
Description
Direction
End of engine from which power is extracted.
Forward
End of engine from which exhaust gases are expelled.
Aft
Determined by observing engine from aft end.
Right/Left
Determined by Iocation of accessory gearbox assembly.
Bottom
Determined by location of starter mounting pad.
Top
Position expressed as viewed from aft end of engine.
O'clock
Determined as viewed from rear of engine. (Clockwise
Direction of Rotation
or Counterclockwise).
