Lubricating oil MIL-L-
23699 and MIL-L-7808,
contain material hazardous
to health.
It produces
paralysis if swallowed or
from prolonged skin
contact. Wash hands
thoroughly after handling.
It may burn if exposed to
heat or flames.
Use only
with proper ventilation.
Remove lockwire and remove oil
drain plug (1) and drain lub-
ricating
oil
into
suitable
container.
Let
oil
drain
until dripping stops.
Discard
packing (2) and lockwire.
Remove
lockwire
and
remove
magnetic drain plug (3).
Dis-
card lockwire and packing (4).
Inspect for particle contam-
ination.
Refer to paragraph
1-30 for inspection criteria.
Dispose of
drained
oil in
authorized manner.
