Section   II. DESCRIPTION  AND  DATA 1-6. DESCRIPTION. A   general   de- scription of   the   generator   set   is contained  in the Operator and Organizational    Maintenance Manual, TM 5-6115-612-12. For location of major set  components see   figures   1-1   and 1-2. Detailed descriptions of these components and major set subsystems are provided in the applicable maintenance paragraphs  of  this  manual. 1-7. TABULATED DATA . Information required by the intermediate and depot level maintenance personnel to maintain the generator set is contained in the Tabulated  Data. The general scope of this data is as follows: a.    Location and Description   of Idetification  and  Instruction  Plates. Information pertaining to identifica- tion  and  instruction  plates  located throughout the set is contained in the Operator  and  Organizational  Maintenance Manual,  TM  5-6115-612-12. b.  Tabulated  Data. Details on the manufacturer, model and type of equip- ment, weight (wet/dry), dimensions, and detailed  data  on  components  follows under  Tabulated  Data. Torque Data. See table 1-1 of TM  5-6115-612-12  for  torque  data. 1-2 d. Repair and Replacement Stan- dards. Table 1-1 contains the repair and  replacement  standards  established for  generator  set  components. e. Diagrams and  Schematics.
