TM 10-7360-204-13&P CHAPTER 4 ORGANIZATIONAL MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS S e c t i o n    I .    G E N E R AL 4-1.  SCOPE. This   chapter   contains   the   removal,   cleaning,   inspection,   and   installation   procedures   for   Organizational Maintenance. Before   maintenance   always   keep   in   mind   the   WARNINGS   and   CAUTIONS located  on  the  inside  front  cover. Section  II.  REPAIR  PARTS,  SPECIAL  TOOLS,  AND  SUPPORT  EQUIPMENT 4-2. COMMON  TOOLS  AND  EQUIPMENT. For  authorized  common  tools  and  equipment  refer  to  the  Modified  Table  of  Organization  and  Equipment (TMOE)  applicable  to  your  unit. 4-3. SPECIAL  TOOL  AND  SUPPORT  EQUIPMENT. A  special  tool  is  required  to  remove  and  adjust  the  burner  valves.  Refer  to  Appendix  B,  Section  III  for description  and  tool  number.  There  is  no  special  support  equipment  required  for  maintenance  of  the  field range  outfit. 4-4.  REPAIR   PARTS. Repair  parts  are  listed  and  illustrated  in  Appendix  C  of  this  manual. Section  III.  SERVICE  UPON  RECEIPT 4-5.   GENERAL. Refer  to  paragraph  2-5  for  details  of  unloading,  unpacking  and  reprocessing  of  the  field  range  outfit  prior to   maintenance. Section  IV.  PREVENTIVE  MAINTENANCE  CHECKS  AND  SERVICES 4-6.   GENERAL. a.  This  section  contains  information  relative  to  organizational  maintenance  personnel  in  keeping  the field   range   in   a   constant   state   of   readiness.   This   is   accomplished   by   performing   preventive   maintenance checks  and  services  quarterly  or  every  250  hours  of  operation,  whichever  occurs  first. b. Table  4-1  contains  a  list  of  preventive  maintenance  checks  and  services  which  must  be  performed  by organizational    maintenance    personnel. (1)  Item  Number  Column.   Item  numbers  in  the  first  column  indicate  the  order  in  which  things  are  to be  done.  The  number  in  the  item  number  column  is  used  in  the  “TM  Number”  column  on  DA  Form  2404, Equipment  Inspection  and  Maintenance  Worksheet,  in  recording  results  of  PMCS. (2)  Item  To  Be  Inspected  Column.   A  general  description  of  the  item  to  be  inspected.  Used  by  main- tenance   personnel   for   orientation. (3)  Procedure  Column.   Procedure   to   be   performed   by   maintenance   personnel. 4-1
