designed   to   recieve   and   phase   track   signals transmitted  by  satellites  of  the  NNSS.  These  signals are processed to obtain navigation information that is monitored  on  video  displays  and  used  elsewhere  for ship navigation. The AN/WRN-5 is designed to be used in various configurations  as  described  below.  Each  of  these configurations   is   defined   by   options   in   external equipment  used  or  variations  in  inputs  and  outputs.
