TM  11-6625-3081-23 7-2.   TROUBLESHOOTING   METHODOLOGY   (cont) 7 - 2 ELECTRONICS  TROUBLESHOOTING  FLOW  CHART  DESCRIPTION  (cont) Symbol 11 12 13 14 15 Action PERFORM  FIFTH  MAINTENANCE  ACTION  -   Refer  to  REPLACEMENT  PROCEDURE  REFERENCE paragraph  and  determine  procedural  paragraph  number  to  replace  2A2A6/ 13081880. Replace Multiprogrammer 2A2A6. RUN VSGST - rerun test If VSGST test passes,    then Multiprogramner 2A2A6 was bad. No further action  required. If  VSGST  test  fails  and  its  a  different  fault  segment,  then  Multiprogrammer 2A2A6 was faulty but another fault exists. Operator  must  then  find  correct fault  segment  and  continue  troubleshooting. If VSGST test fails and its the same fault segment, then Multiprogrammer 2A2A6 was not faulty and troubleshooting in this leg continues. BEGIN  MANUAL  TROUBLESHOOTING  -   Refer to chapter 3 of this manual for interconnection  diagrams  and  wire  lists. Table of contents for chapter 3 shows wiring data for Test Console Test Bench is located in section IV. CHECK  CABLES  2A2W7,  2A2W8,  and  2A2W9  -  Disconnect  cables  and  check connectors  for  damage. Using wiring data in chapter 3, check continuity. Repair  or  replace  cables  as  required  using  standard  maintenance  procedures. If no cable repairs required and other tests are available to perform; perform other tests. If no cable repairs required and other tests have been performed; next higher  level  of  maintenance  is  required. If cable repairs were made, then proceed to block 15. Run VSGST   - rerun test. If VSGST test passes,    then cable(s) were bad. No further action required. If VSGST test fails and its a different fault segment, then cable(s) were faulty but another fault exists. Operator  must  then  find  correct  fault segment  and  continue  troubleshooting. If VSGST test fails and its the same segment to perform; perform other tests. If VSGST test fails and other test have been of  maintenance  required. and other tests are available performed; next higher level 7-10
