Front-End Preselection
The noise and spurious response can be improved by using front-end preselection. For example, if measurements
are confined to an RF input bandwidth of 88 to 108 MHz, a filter as shown below will remove undesired RF signals
outside this band. The filter may be installed externally, or behind the front panel of the ME-525A/USM.
