INITIAL CONNECTIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS

EXT OSC

An external local oscillator signal may be applied to the OSC connector (type BNC) on the rear panel of

the ME-525A/USM. The input impedance is approximately 50 ohms, and the required level is 1.0 millivolt

(0 dBm).

DC OUT

A DC output signal, proportional to the digital panel meter display, is available at the rear panel DC OUT

connector (type BNC). This output signal is 1.000 V (1 volt) at 1000 counts on the digital panel meter

display. Source impedance is 1.0 K (1 kilohm).
