459. The AN/USM -459A will not replace the AN/USM-459, it will be

issued to users who require the AN/USM-459. The AN/USM-459 and the

AN/USM-459A are functionally equivalent. The AN/USM -459A can

replace all items replaced by the AN/USM-459.
