Views, Continued Exploded views Views that pictorially represent how objects and assemblies fit together are called exploded views.   You may use any pictorial method including isometric and dimetric projection for exploded views with isometric representation the most  common.  Exploded  views  appear  primarily  in  design  presentations, catalogs,  sales  literature,  and  assembly  instructions.
