Monochromatic
The monochromatic color scheme is a single hue used in various tints,
color schemes
shades, and intensities. A monochromatic scheme is harmonious although
there is nothing to which a monochromatic color scheme can disagree.
One
color having values ranging from light tints to dark shades can be colorful.
Figure 2-16 shows a monochromatic color scheme in blue.
