Furniture, Continued Tabourets Table coverings Tabourets are small, portable work stations that contain some storage in the bottom and a small drawer. They are useful when a job requires a temporary work station at a remote location away from the shop. Figure 2-5 shows a two drawer tabouret. Figure 2-5. —A tabouret. A table covering protects the table from damage and wear. It smooths over existing damage to the drawing surface and changes easily when it becomes soiled or unserviceable.
