Section IV.  OPERATION UNDER UNUSUAL CONDITIONS

TM  9-6115-660-13&P a. b. c. d. e. 2-44 Disconnect the auxiliary fuel hose (4, figure 2-16) from the generator set external fuel supply connection (1). Elevate the free end of the auxiliary fuel hose to drain fuel back into the external fuel source (2). Place free end of auxiliary fuel hose on a clean surface. Disconnect auxiliary fuel hose (4) from fitting on container adapter (3). Store auxiliary fuel hose in the generator set storage compartment below the generator set control panel, behind the bottom-right access door. Release the container adapter from the external fuel source by lifting the handle of the clamp (5).  Remove  the  container  adapter  from  the  external  fuel  source.  Close  the  external  fuel  source and  load  onto  appropriate  transportation. Store the container adapter in the accessory box. Figure 2-16. Disconnect Auxiliary Fuel (Typical).
