TM 9-6115-660-13&P Class II Leakage of fluid great enough to form drops, but not enough to cause drops to drip from the item being checked/inspected. Class III Leakage of fluid great enough to form drops that fall from the item being checked/inspected. 2-2.6  Operation of Power Plant/Power Unit with Minor Leaks. CAUTION Equipment operation is allowable with minor leakage (Class I or II) of any fluid except fuel. Fluid capacity must be considered before deciding to continue operation of the equipment with  minor  leaks.    When  operating  with  Class  I  or  II  leaks,  fluid  level  must  be  checked more often than required by the PMCS table.  Parts without fluid will stop working and or cause equipment damage. a. Consider  the  equipment’s  capacity  for  the  fluid  that  is  leaking.    If  the  capacity  is  small,  the  fluid  level  may  soon become too low for continued operation.  If in doubt, notify your supervisor. b. Check the fluid level more often than required in the PMCS table.  Add fluid as needed. 2-2.7  Corrosion Prevention and Control (CPC).  CPC of Army materiel is of continuing concern.  It is important that any corrosion problems with the power plant or power unit be reposed so that the problem can be corrected and improvements can be made to prevent the problem in future items.  While corrosion is typically associated with rusting of metals, it can also  include  deterioration  of  other  materials,  such  as  rubber  and    plastic.    Unusual  cracking,  softening,  swelling,  or breaking  of  these  materials  may  be  a  corrosion  problem.    If  a  corrosion  problem  is  identified,  it  can  be  reported  using Standard Form 368, Product Quality Deficiency Report.  Use of key words such as "corrosion," "rust," "deterioration," or "racking" will ensure that the information is identified as a CPC problem.  The  form  should  be  submitted  to  the  address specified in DA Pam 738-750. 2-2.8  Order in Which PMCS Will be Done.  Figures 2-2, 2-3, and 2-3.1 show the order in which you are t perform your before  operation  PMCS.    Figure  2-2  is  for  the  AN/MJQ-37  and  AN/MJQ-38,  figure  2-3  is  for  PU-798  and  PU-799,  and figure 2-3.1 is for PU-798A and PU-799A.  The number callouts on figures 2-2, 2-3, and 2-3.1 correspond t the numbers in the Item No. column of table 2-2.  Callouts on figure 2-2 for one Power Plant generator set apply to both of the Power Plant generator sets. 2-6  Change 2
