MALFUNCTION
TESTOR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
CANNOT OPERATE THE POWER UNIT FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL UNIT.
Step 1.
Check control cable connectors for tightness.
Tighten connectors.
Step 2.
Check battery cables.
Report loose cables to unit maintenance.
Step 3.
Disconnect remote control cable and insert shorting plug.
Start the generator set using GENERATOR set controls.
If generator starts, the remote control unit or cable is faulty.
Report to unit maintenance.
If generator does not start, refer to TM5-6115-464-12.
