How to Locate Repair Parts.

TM 5-6115-593-24P NAVFAC P-8-631-24P TO 35C2-3-463-4 e. (ALL) Description.  (Column 5.) Indicates the Federal item name and any additional descriptions of the item required.  The abbreviation "w/e" when used as part of the nomenclature, indicates that the National Stock Number includes all armament, equipment, accessories and repair parts issued with the item.  A part number or other reference number is followed by the applicable five digit Federal Supply Code for manufacturer.  If two reference numbers and Federal Supply Codes for manufacturer are listed, the first listing refers to the Department of Defense Drawing Number, the second listing refers to the actual part manufacturer.  Items that are included in kits and sets are listed below the component or assembly to which they apply and the items comprising the kit are asterisked (*). f. (ALL) Unit of Measure (U/M).  (Column 6). Indicates the standard of the basic quantity of the listed item as used in performing the actual maintenance function.  This measure is expressed by a two-character alphabetical abbreviation (e.g., ea.  in.  pr. etc).  When the unit of measure differs from the unit of issue, the lowest unit of issue that will satisfy the required units of measure will be requisitioned. g. (ALL) Quantity Incorporated in Unit.  (Column 7).  Indicates the quantity of the item used in the assembly group.  A "V" appearing in this column in lieu of a quantity indicates that a definite quantity cannot be indicated (e.g., shims, spacers, etc.) h. (MC) Quantity Per Equipment. (Column 8). Indicates that consolidated quantity of a maintenance part used on an end item upon the part's first appearance in this publication. 4. Special Information. a. (Army) Parts which require manufacture or assembly at a level higher than that authorized for installation will indicate in he source column, the higher level. b. Stockage Information. (1) Air Force stockage information is contained in Initial Supply Support Lists issued separately from this publication by Sacramento Air Logistics Center in accordance with AFM 67-1, part 1, chapter 12. (2) Navy stockage objectives are contained in Consolidated Shipboard Allowance List as furnished separately from this publication by the Ship Parts Control Center. (3) Marine Corps stockage information is contained in Marine Corps Change "A" type listings issued separate from this publication. c. (ALL) Usable On Code.  (Part of Column 5).
