CHAPTER 2 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

TM 5-6115-593-12 TO 35C2-3-463-1 supply tank then runs it through a filter and delivers it, under pressure, to the individual cam-operated    injectors    of    each    cylinder. The   fuel   injectors   receive   fuel   from   the pump under pressure, meter a small portion of  it,  and  then  inject  it  into  the  combustion chambers in the form of fine spray.  Engine speed    regulation    is    accomplished    by    a hydraulic    actuator    which    is    mechanically linked    to    the    fuel    injection    pump.    The actuator,  in  turn,  is  controlled  by  governor controller A106 which senses engine speed by  means  of  a  magnetic  pickup.    Any  time engine speed varies, A106 outputs a control voltage  to  the  actuator.    The  actuator,  in response,   affects   the   rate   of   fuel   output from the fuel injection pump. 1-31/(1-32 blank)
