a. Removal
(1) Fasten lifting equipment to the
front of the engine and lift
weight of the engine from the
hydraulic jacks.
(a) Use a wrench to remove five
capscrews (1) which secure the
oil pan to the front housing
cover (2).
(b) Loosen remaining bolts which
secure the oil pan to the
engine block. Put spacers
between the oil pan and oil
pan plate.
