REMOVAL - CONTINUED
WARNING
Support rear of cylinder with chain prior to removing pivot pin. Failure to do so may cause personal
injury and damage to cylinder.
Be certain that metal caps are installed on fittings at front of boom as instructed in step 14. Failure to do
so could result in personal injury caused by pressurized hydraulic oil spraying out of open fittings when
engine is started.
NOTE
Adjust fitting device as required to take weight off pivot pin during removal.
15.
Remove locknut (26), capscrew (27) and pivot pin
(28), securing MLRS attachment hoist cylinder (24) to
MLRS attachment (16). Discard locknut.
