(1) Remove nut (1) and lock washer (2)
(2) Detach ball joint (3)
(3) Loosen nut (25)
(4) Adjust ball joint (3) by threading onto or out of
cable (53)
(5) Tighten nut (25)
(6) Install ball joint (3)
(7) install lock washer (2) and nut (1)
(8) Measure clearance (step b above)
d. Move lever into first (1) and third (3) speed positions.
Full detent shall be achieved.
