TM 5-3805-274-10 (2) Put adjustment chain through lower chain latches and pull tight.  Slide the chain link into slot (fig.  2-13, view A), making sure chains are even on both sides. e. You are now ready to load. NOTE Remember to perform your after (A) PMCS when you finish operating the dump truck. 2-8. Stowing the Tarpaulin. a. Disconnect the tarpaulin from the fourteen hooks (fig.  2-6). b. Remove the tie-down straps (fig.  2-6). c. Clean and fold the tarpaulin (fig.  2-15). d. Store the tarpaulin in the stowage box (fig.  2-4).  Push it into the box from Figure 2-15.  Preparing the Tarpaulin for Stowage 2-17
