Diesel fuel is flammable. Do
not perform this procedure near
fire, flame, or sparks. Injury or
death to personnel could result.
R E M O V A L
REMOVE hand primer HANDLE (1), packing (2), spring (3), and valve disk (4). DISCARD PACKING.
I N S T A L L A T I O N
INSTALL valve disk (4), spring (3), new packing (2), and hand primer HANDLE (1).
NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance:
Bleed fuel system (page 4-41).
Install right front fender and splash guard (page 4-409).
