Your chief operator will tell you how to operate and how to set the switches on the digital data modem under

unusual conditions.

2-12. EMERGENCY STOPPING PROCEDURE

To turn the digital data modem off in an emergency, set the power switch on the power supply to OFF.

CAUTION

If the equipment is turned off by the use of the emergency stopping procedure, operate all circuit

breakers and equipment power switches to OFF before attempting to restart the digital data

modem.
