SUB SYS TEST Switch

Non-latching toggle switch. This

momentary action switch is used to initiate

self-testing of the disk unit (and any slave

disk units).

PASS Indicator

LED indicator. Indicates that the unit has

(SUB SYS TEST)

successfully passed system readiness

testing and is ready for operation. If

additional disk units are connected to this

unit, and the UNIT SELECT switch is

dialed to the appropriate position (1, 2, or

3) the PASS indicator will indicate that the

slave disk unit has also undergone self-

testing, and passed.

FAIL Indicator

LED indicator. Indicates that the unit

(SUB SYS TEST)

(or the slaved disk units) has failed the

system readiness testing.
