INTRODUCTION
This PAM selection gives you access to the INPUT component of the BGU
software.
Use this selection to create and modify information regarding net
structures (see Master Net List--Matrix, page 2-24), available frequencies
(see Frequency List & Restrictions, page 2-29), net groups (see Net Groups,
page 2-33), cositing (see Cosite Plan, page 2-38), call sign sharing (see
Sharing Plan for Call Signs, page 2-41), frequency sharing (see Sharing Plan
for Frequencies, page 2-44), special net planning (see Special Nets Plan, page
2-46), suffix descriptors (see Suffixes, page 2-48), expander descriptors (see
Expanders, page 2-50), merging (see Merge, page 2-52) and SINCGARS frequency
resources (see SINCGARS Frequency Resources, page2-56).
This chapter discusses the ENTER SOI/CEOI procedures in detail. It shows how
to enter into the BGU the SOI data created in Appendix G. The example
database used in the manual comes from the SOI developed in Appendix G. The
data is complete and generates actual SOI information.
At the end of the chapter is a quick reference table. The table contains
definitions for the data

from the PAM menu shown in Figure 2-6, use the arrow
keys to position the small arrow over the “ENTER SOI/CEOI” PAM selection and
press <RETURN> or <fl>.
The screen clears and then displays the following:
Loading “ENTER SOI/CEOI”.
When, the screen clears again, the Input Options menu is displayed. This menu
is shown in Figure 2-7.
The key sequence used to get to this menu from the BECS PAM Menu is shown in
parenthesis.
All menu selections are made by pressing the function keys on the HP-111.
There are six (6) choices from this menu.

allows you to enter net and frequency information.
