ZEROIZE   THE   COMPUTER

TM   11-5895-1412-12&P followed by: “REMOVE  PROGRAM  DISK  FROM  DRIVE  C INSERT  DATA  DISK  INTO  DRIVE  C“ Insert the data disk and press any key. A listing of the loaded files is shown and then the computer screen displays: “REMOVED  DATADISK  FROM  DRIVE  C INSERT  PROGRAM  DISK  INTO  DRIVE  C“ Insert program disk and hit any key. The PAM menu comes  to  the  screen. This PAM selection stores all BGU data to a data disk. THE DATA DISK MUST BE PROPERLY FORMATTED BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO STORE DATA. (See Format C Drive, page 2-17 for the procedures to format a disk.) Use this option  at the end of each session to store all the data entered. Data created from a session is not stored until this option is used. Once this option is selected, the screen displays: Loading   “SAVE   TO   DISK” followed by: “REMOVE  PROGRAM  DISK  FROM  DRIVE  C INSERT   DATA   DISK   INTO   DRIVE   C" Insert the data disk and press any key. A file listing of all files stored is displayed,  followed  by: “REMOVE DATA DISK FROM DRIVE C INSERT  PROGRAM  DISK  INTO  DRIVE  C" Insert the program disk and press any key. The PAM menu comes to the screen and data is stored. Label each data disk before it is stored. Note: The disk’s label should contain the following: 1. A summary of the SOI/CEOI data contained on the disk 2. The hopset filename (if any) 3 . The TRANSEC Key pair name (i.e. TSK #1) 4 . The level at which all data was generated 5 . The date of generation or effective date or both 2-14
