INTRODUCTION. This Technical Bulletin provides information and procedures for repair of the

SINCGARS ASIP Receiver-Transmitter RT-1523E Display/Keypad Assembly (DKA), part number (p/n)

A3266120-1.

PURPOSE OF INSTALLATION. The Repair Kit p/n A3210962-1, NSN 5895-01-484-6837, will typically be

installed to replace damaged glass in the DKA. The repair kit replaces the casting and rubber keypad. The new

casting provides increased support for the glass.

ITEMS TO BE REPAIRED. The Display/Keypad Assembly exists in two versions. Instructions are

provided herein for repair of DKA p/n A3266120-1. The repairable DKA p/n A3266120-1 can be identified by

3/16 inch thick mounting tabs and having six screws securing its rear cover.

PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION. Inspect the kit to verify that all items listed below and shown in

figure 1 are included. Obtain the tools and material listed.
