17. Using 1/2 inch wrench, remove eight nuts, washers,

ENGINE REPLACEMENT (2D ENGINE) (Sheet 6 of 18)

and lockwashers (AC). Remove left air cleaner

hose and elbow assembly (AD) from turbocharger

NOTE

(AE).

Tag air cleaner hoses as they are

removed for later installation.

18. Using procedure described in step 17, remove right

air cleaner hose and elbow assembly.

WARNING

Cover all openings to prevent

entrance of foreign material to

prevent damage to engine.

NOTE

Perform steps 19, 20, and 21 only if

you are replacing a 2D engine.

Remove left and right exhaust ejector

replacing 2DA engine.

19. Using 7/8 inch wrench, loosen connecting nut (AF)

and connecting nut (AG). Remove transmission vent

line (AH) from transmission.
