Procedure
Step
1.
Level main gun using gunner's quadrant M1A1.
NOTE
Each level vial division mark is equal to approximately
1.5 mils.
Check level vial on 11-inch arm (1). If bubble in level vial is not within the three

division marks on the vial, notify support maintenance.
If boresighting, synchronization, and synchronization adjustment are within tolerance,
3.
continue with backlash check (frame 11).
