NOTE

One angle bracket (U) is located on each side

at rear of vehicle.

15. Using 9/16 inch socket with 2 inch exten-

sion. remove three screws (V), lockwashers

(W), and washers (X) securing each angle

bracket (U). Throw lockwashers away.

Lift up rear corner of bracket (U) to remove

it.

If you have an early model

vehicle, go on to step 17. If you

have a late model vehicle, do

s t e p s 16.1 thru 16.7 and skip

steps 17 thru 20.
