WARNING
Take all necessary safety precautions to eliminate possible injury to
personnel or damage to equipment. Make sure areas in front and rear
of vehicle are clear of personnel and equipment.
CAUTION
Do not stall test for more than 30 seconds at full throttle or allow
transmission oil temperature to go over 300° F (149° C), red area, on
TRANSMISSION TEMP F gage.
With engine at normal operating
temperature, apply brakes and place
transmission shift lever in high
range. Run engine at full throttle
for no more than 30 seconds.
Check that engine speed stabilizes
between 1800-2050 rpm.
Engine speed is
below 1800 rpm
after three stall
checks.
