(D) TRACK.
Composed of 80 track links fastened
together with end connectors and
steel centeraguides.
Each link consists of two grousers, two link pins, and two
rubber pads.
Alinement maintained by 80 centerguides riding between dual track
support
rollers,
dual-compensating idler wheels,
dual roadwheels
and
through
channel in track drive sprocket hub.
End connectors on both sides of track form
track driving chain as they pass around drive
sprocket.
The vehicle may be
equipped with either (but not both) T-97 E2 track or
has replaceable links and the T-142 has replaceable pads.
